I cannot believe how quickly a year has gone since the last time I was here!
T.E.A.M. 2015 has certainly grown in leaps and bounds demanding a bigger venue to house over 40 exhibitors!
There was so much to see and take part in I didn’t know where to go first.
The venue was the Holiday Inn, Coventry and I must admit, I had never seen a Holiday Inn quite as impressive visually. Sorry, no pics – you are going to just have to take my word for it. The complimentary golden delicious apples at the reception desk were are much needed welcome, especially as I hadn’t eaten for hours.
Anyway, back to the event. It started after 9am with a networking session just for the vendors where they could meet certain speakers who were giving an introductory talk on their businesses from tax advice to complimentary therapies. Very informative.
There was even a live international link up with spiritual sage Ava Laura who took us through a guided meditation which was just awesome. If you came in stressed that morning, you certainly left calm and collective and ready for the day after her wonderful session. Check out Ava Laura’s Facebook page.
Before entering the market place you would have been forced to stop and stare at the wonderful artwork by Guilaine Arts. This image does not do the painting justice at all! You have to see it live to appreciate the artistry that has gone into producing this. Simply stunning work.
Another stand that caught my eye was the wonderful handmade doll display by Rita Kappia. I just had to buy one for my daughter. Rita’s skill at turning something dull and boring into something wonderful and creative is just genius. You have to buy a couple of these just because you can. A little girl’s must have – not forgetting us big girls too ;o)
Lastly, I cannot forget to mention the ball which just finished off the day wonderfully. We were entertained by a live jazz band, singers, comedian Annette Fagon, poet David Wilks of Just Divine Poems and also a very inspirational speaker by the name of Claudine Duberry of Taking Positive Steps seen here with me. Claudine is a social entrepreneur and specialises in working with hard-to-reach youngsters. An amazing person with a positive message!
Congratulations to A.F.S.O.M (Associates for Seed of Mustard) on putting on such an informative, fun and enjoyable day – job well done! Also big thanks to the fantastic feedback for my art and my lovely customers – mwah!
